Laurie Freier dropped out of the Easts team following training on Thursday night with a hamstring injury he was replaced by Ken Jones. However Freier did come on as a replacement in the reserve grade semi-final and then replaced Greg Bandiera after 65 mins in 1st grade. John Peard replaced Kevin Stevens after 12 mins of the 1st half due to a knee injury.
Greg Bandiera had his jersey torn during a 1st half brawl and in jersey #35 until he was replaced.
