My Uncle, Joe Vasta is from the Burdekin he played for Hornets,Burdekin,North Queensland, Queensland Country and Queensland. He was choosen in the Burdekin team of the Century, also just missing out of the North Queensland team of the Century. He also coached for a number of years. He was a great Bloke, and sadly missed.

A great bloke and gentle giant. Knew him through the Army Reserve in the early 1970s.
