I remember Alan Ratcliffe to be a excellent centre player he was fast and good to watch I used to take my two young sons to w oatch Wigan and he was there favourite player.

Alan was a good player who gave ever thing when playing.

Great all round player, centre,fullback or wing could play in any position.
