Honeywood was sin-binned for something unusual in Norths' Saturday ABC TV match against Souths at Redfern Oval in 1985. As Souths were about to kick-off after Norths had converted a penalty Honeywood went and kicked the ball off the mound and as result received 10 minutes in the sin bin from Referee Mick Stone.
